i think i may be a little obsessed with reading magazines. it’s a passion that has developed over the past few years, but recently i decided to branch out my subscriptions by including a wider variety of topics, like politics and home decor.
the newest ones will be arriving for the first time in two - four weeks. i can’t express my excitement! now i’ll actually have something to keep me entertained on all my trips to toronto this summer.
here’s the list of them:
canadian business
chatelaine
elle canada
esquire
flare
macleans
martha stewart living
psychology today
style at home
now i must figure out the best way to organize and store them—and the old ones i have collected over the years. i kind of like the look of having some stacked, seen in the photo above.

a new chapter

it’s official: i have a new apartment as of july 1!

this weekend, i took a trip to london to search for a new place for next year. luckily, after seeing three other apartments, i found this place and fell in love.

not only is this studio apartment gorgeous—i mean, check out those 9 ft ceilings—and a little bit quirky, it is located in an incredible spot. it’s only a ten-minute bus ride to campus and pretty much everything else i need is only five to ten minutes away.

i can’t wait to start my new life here. i am so proud of myself for doing all of this alone—it’s a huge step into more independence, and i haven’t been this happy about something in a really long time.

mid renovation—my landlord is in the midst of putting new flooring down.

this is what i meant by a little bit quirky! i’ve never seen a closet space built into the wall like this. so cute.

you will forever be my favourite.

the editors of the magazine i write for, otmzine, styled this whole video. it’s such an awesome song, and the fashion is amazing.

i’m all smiles after a fantastic workout tonight!

can it be the weekend yet?

i am checking out two adorable apartments this friday that are right near vic park and richmond st. it’s going to be expensive, but so worth it!

also, the shoot i’m doing on saturday is going to be so much fun. there’s ten models for the video and photo shoot and we’re basically like savages on teams having a paint war. so bad ass. i’m the test model before hand too so it’s going to be from 5-10pm! i haven’t had a long shoot like that in a few years!

i also can’t wait to see the guys. i’m so lucky they gave me a key to their place so i can stay at their house whenever i need while looking for an apartment!

i’m so anxious and excited! eeeee!
